| Riassunto: | The concept of damage to the Life Project is presented as a new legal category that has not been sufficiently studied. It is conceptually opposed to emotional harm and material damage, in the form as both categories were developed by the Civil Law. The purpose of the research is to define the concept of Project Life Damage from the review and analysis of the literature and studies that work as background, to delineate its features and elements, aspects that have been developed by the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR); for analysis was taken of the pioneering decision in MARÍA ELENA LOAYZA TAMAYO Vs. Peru, and subsequent to the matter have been issued. The study is part of the model documentation and bibliographical research, where the most important literature developed by the doctrinal and legal analyzes, and its scope is described.
