En este trabajo encontramos que el 51.35% de la muestra estaba ubicada en el ángulo supero medial (nasal) de la órbita, un 24.32% se situó en el ángulo supero lateral de la órbita (temporal) y un 24.32% presentaron una ubicación intermedia a las anteriores, en esta serie no observamos la prolongación palpebral. The gestational ages were from 15 to 41 weeks, plus two samples proceeding from a 7 months old infant. They were previously red vinyl perfused, 10 % formalin fixed, and carefully dissected. In the series we observed: in 51.35% the gland was located in the supero medial part of the orbit (nasal). In 24.32% was at the supero lateral angle of the orbit (temporal), and in 24.32% was located intermediate to the above mentioned regions. In this sample the palpebral extension was not observed.
