| Zusammenfassung: | Problem: In all the beds of intensive therapy worldwide, the cleaning of the corporal zones of the patients, (especially the pelvic and gluteal regions) or when the refill of the bed clothes and of the patient is done, the managing of the patient is realized by movements of corporal rotation, which causes intense pains and can provoke unwanted mobility of the fractured areas. Aims: to design a “traumatologic bed” to be used by polytraumatized and polyfractured patients hospitalized in the units of intensive therapy; and also to be used for the post anesthesia recovery of orthopedic surgery patients. This special bed is designed as to avoid the rotational manipulation of the patients and also to develop a mattress anti scars, segmented and removable along with the respective sheets Results: obtention of an orthopedic bed that diminishes the dangerous or very painful mobilizations and that avoids the rotational movements of the patient. Conclusions: In Venezuela we have the technology and materials to design and to construct special hospital beds and some other biomedical devices as well, which would reduce costs for the institutions. With our beds, there will be a better care for the polytraumatized patients who enter the units of intensive therapy or post anesthesia recovery, because the patient will be handled avoiding the inconvenient and dangerous maneuvers of rotation and inclination. Additionally a prompt reinstatement of the special bed is guaranteed, due to the fact that it is a national technological development. |
