Summary:The research objective was to evaluate the nursing diagnoses and studies of life who have families of patients undergoing hemodialysis, was a descriptive cross sectional population consisted of 36 families of patients receiving treatment hemodialysis at the Hospital Antonio María Pineda, there was no sampling was studied for 100% of the population, for the collection of data designed a structured interview in three parts: demographics, physical assessment, functional patterns consisting of 45 items and responses YES-NO. The results showed blood pressure 140/91 mmHg which infers that the families studied show incidence have high blood pressure, glycemic control 30% did not realize it, the same percentage 30% do not perform their control of hemoglobin, 48 reported a family history % hypertension, alcoholism, smoking, 13% obese, health patterns, 58% have a preference for the consumption of fried and fatty foods, physical activity report 100% of sedentary lifestyle, elimination pattern 6% reported urine foam.
