| Summary: | To evaluate the morbidity of laparoscopic transumbilical as surgical procedure for gallstones. Method: 50 patients were selected by purposive sampling, diagnosed with gallstones, which underwent cholecystectomy transumbilical single-incision technique with SILS device - Port ® (Covidien ®) and surgical instruments articulated. Results: Postoperative pain intensity was rated moderate. The hospital stays of 24 hours. Procedure conversion rate of 2% and at 14% complication. There were no deaths. Conclusions: The technique was reproducible with high level of aesthetic satisfaction, conversion complications of the procedure and an acceptable rate, with operating time and hospital stay similar to the studies shown in the literature. |
