Sammanfattning:The present work aims to grade the need for quality control to the System of Integrated Management Information (SIGI) of the National Institute for Prevention, Health and Safety (INPSASEL). This study is framed in the form of field research, as it is was designed to develop a manual of procedures for recording data from the forms of statements of accidents efficiently and effectively, so this was used as technical information collection literature review, direct observation and unstructured interview type that were made to staff of the departments of epidemiology and registration room Diresat Aragua, which helped identify the main manifestations of the problem. Similarly, statistical tools were used such as brainstorming, cause-effect diagram and Pareto diagram to implement quality control in improving the process of declaration and registration of occupational accidents. In conclusion, we identified the elements that influence the process negatively, the most important to count on a staff that is qualified to perform efficiently and effectively record data information system, however, this awarded to the direction of the institution has initiated projects, or executed guidelines that help counter the fact that at present there is no procedure for recording the information, standardization of process and not have a program with the implementation of training plans and training to staff regularly.
