Se parte de la verificación de una situación de comercio ilícito de personas, donde niños y adolescentes ecuatorianos, de las provincias de Chimborazo, sectores Colta y Guamote, son trasladados por los tratantes hacia la ciudad de Caracas con fines de explotación laboral, a cambio de un pago en dólares acordado con los padres. Posteriormente, se desarrolla una revisión jurídica de la legislación penal venezolana, en materia de trata y tráfico de personas, para evaluar las respuestas legales de las autoridades en materia de justicia hacia este flagelo. Se constata la existencia del delito de trata de seres humanos dentro del territorio venezolano; se devela quienes se encuentran detrás de este delito, para luego darlo a conocer a la opinión pública y de esta manera propiciar en la ciudadanía, discusiones sobre la trata de seres humanos en Venezuela, entendido como una situación real de mercantilización humana. La propuesta comunicacional consiste en un trabajo de investigación periodística, en formato multimedia, que por medio de elementos fotográficos, audiovisuales, textuales, infografías y documentos oficiales, en los cuales, se aborda y describe esta problemática social, a través de entrevistas personales a miembros de instituciones no gubernamentales, personas afectadas por este delito y se da a conocer la respuesta oficial de las autoridades tanto ecuatorianas como venezolanas. Se observa que, sobre la trata de niños y adolescentes en Venezuela, delito caracterizado por el temor de la víctima a acudir a los entes policiales y denunciar el maltrato sufrido, la institución venezolana perteneciente al Ministerio del Poder Popular para las Relaciones Interiores y Justicia carece de acciones preventivas, pues la investigación y rescate inicia luego de haberse efectuado una denuncia.This research intended to guide about human trafficking with emphasis on the purpose of labor exploitation, through a multimedia report of investigative journalism. We will start with the verification of a situation of illegal trade of people, where children and young ecuadorian provinces from the provinces of Chimborazo, and Guamote Colta sectors are translate to the city of Caracas for labor exploitation, after agreeing with his parents a pay in dollars for a year of work. We develop a legal review of the criminal law in Venezuela on trafficking and smuggling of people, to evaluate the legal responses of the authorities in justice to this scourge. It denotes the existence of the crime of human trafficking within the country, to discover who is behind these mafias, and then make it known to the public opinion so the public will have comprehensive information on the situation and it will generate open discussions on human trafficking in Venezuela, understood as a real situation of human commodification. The communication proposal consists in an article of investigative journalism in a multimedia format that includes photographic elements, audio, text, computer graphics and official documents, in witch this social problem is aboard and describe, and also interviews that allows that the problems is explain by its protagonists and the official response is disclosed, of both Ecuadorian and Venezuelan authorities.
