Zusammenfassung:To analyze the effectiveness of immobilization and early functional rehabilitation between Kiniesotape and anklet in patients with ankle sprain treated at the Hospital Miguel Perez Carreno from the month of October 2014 to April 2015. Method: The research is prospective, descriptive, the design is clinical. The sample consisted of 60 patients aged 18 to 65 years, following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Descriptive statistical techniques were applied to the data instrument designed to compare the variables of each objective. Results: Of the 60 patients, 70% are between 18 and 29 years, 56.66% female patients with grade II sprain. Most had damage to the peroneal previous talar pro originated daily activities. There were no complications. Conclusions: The two techniques of immobilization and early functional rehabilitation, are effective in the span of one to six weeks when treatment is maintained with anti-inflammatory analgesic, early rehabilitation and strengthening of the peroneal. Kinesiotape pain decreases with a difference of 23.61% over the ankle in 6 weeks.
