Entre 1949 y 1955 su fun dador, Luis Guillermo Villegas Blanco, produjo siete largometrajes de ficción con la intención de alcanzar los estándares de producción industrial mexicana y argentina. En el artículo se efectúa una comparación de esta experiencia y la de la Companhia Cinematografica Vera Cruz (São Paulo, 1950-1953), con la finalidad de ca racterizar mejor tanto las particularidades del proyecto de Bolívar Films como los intentos industriales posteriores a la Segunda Guerra Mundial. / The influence of the paradigm of industrial movie in postgomecist Venezuela became concrete throughout creation of films producers like Cóndor Films, Estudios Ávila and Bolivar Films. Between all, Bolívar Films could consolidate itself due their documentaries, news bulletins and advertising for cinema, joint to its ability to keep relations with governments. From 1949 to 1955 its founder, Luis Guillermo Vi - lle gas Blanco, produced seven science-fiction films in order to reach mexican and argentinean production standards. In this article this experience is compared with ex perience of the Companhia Cinematografica Vera Cruz (Sao Paulo, 1950-1953), with the aim of to characterize better the traits of the Bolívar Films’ project and attempts after Second World War. |
